Dr. John Rennicks  –  Chiropractor

Dr. Rennicks graduated from the University of Toronto in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree and then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, from which he  graduated in 1990.  A second generation chiropractor, he immediately began practicing in downtown Toronto where he runs a large practice focusing on restoring and maximizing the health of the residents and business people in the downtown core.

Dr. Rennicks has extensive training in and utilizes an advanced, gentle, low force technique called Torque Release Technique (TRT).  Being one of the first chiropractors in Eastern Canada to be certified in the technique, he also provides advanced technique training for chiropractors on behalf of the Canadian arm of the Holder Research Institute, the developers of TRT.

As the son of a chiropractor, Dr. Rennicks has been able to see and feel first hand the tremendous benefits of living a chiropractic lifestyle.  Eating healthy, being physically active, being involved in numerous social causes and ensuring that his nervous system is functioning as well as possible through advanced chiropractic care has allowed him to reap the benefits of a healthy, active life.  He has passed this lifestyle on to his four children as well.

It is often said that you should not take your health for granted.  But Dr. Rennicks believes that in a way we should take our health for granted.  That is because it is normal to be healthy.  Health is your normal, natural state and your body is always striving to be as healthy as possible.  In chiropractic we often say that nature doesn’t need help, just no interference.  Dr. Rennicks specialises is removing nerve interference to allow you to have an optimal state of well-being.

Marie-Louise Rennicks  –  Chiropractic Health Assistant

Rest assured that when you walk in the front door of the Rennicks Chiropractic Centre you will be greeted with a warm, friendly smile from our Chiropractic Assistant, Marie-Louise.

Our patients are always commenting on how welcome they feel when they come in and how promptly their appointments and paperwork are taken care of by Marie-Louise.  Not surprising considering Marie-Louise is Swiss and brings that Swiss attitude of promptness and precision with her into the clinic.

Marie-Louise has been caring for patients alongside Dr. Rennicks for twenty years.  When Dr. Rennicks first interviewed Marie-Louise for the assistant’s position, he asked her why she feels she is good for the job?  “Because I’m your wife” was the answer.  The rest is history.
